What do you enjoy most about teaching?

For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is watching my students take part in opportunities that excite them and let them apply what we have learned in the real world.

A piece of advice for students in your school?

Be curious. In sport, many opportunities come from curiosity, like exploring why organizations do things the way they do, why certain decisions are made, or whose perspectives may be missing from the conversation. Throughout my career, I have learned the value of asking difficult questions, listening to perspectives that aren’t always heard, and thinking about how those insights can lead to meaningful change. As a student, don’t be afraid to ask one more question, challenge an assumption, or explore an idea beyond what is expected of you. I guarantee that curiosity will become one of your greatest strengths, both in your education and in your career.
