I’m most proud of our department’s strong focus on building meaningful connections with local businesses and creating opportunities for students to gain real-world experience. What do you enjoy most about teaching? What I enjoy most about teaching is watching students connect classroom ideas to real-life situations. Seeing that moment when a concept ‘clicks’—and they realize they can use it to make sense of work, people and organizations—is incredibly rewarding. A piece of advice for students in your school? Say yes to opportunities that push you outside your comfort zone. The projects, internships and conversations that feel uncertain at first often become the experiences that shape your career the most. Business is about learning how to navigate complexity with others—start practicing that now.
