University Dining is offering a variety of care packages to brighten a student’s day. Whether you want to send a package to celebrate a birthday, help a student through a late night of studying, or let a student know you are thinking of them, we have what you are looking for in a Pointer Package.

Please allow up to 5 business days for Pointer Packages to be ready for pickup.

Pointer Package Pickup

On the pickup date, we will send your student an email notification with instructions for picking up their care package. All pickups will be at the Lower DeBot Marketplace (325 Isadore Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481) on the main campus of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.

If they are unable to pick up their package on the designated date/time, the package will remain available for one (1) week. Any care packages not picked up will be donated to The Cupboard, UWSP’s Food Pantry within the Dreyfus University Center. No refunds will be issued for these items.

Revive and Thrive Package

Do you know a Pointer feeling under the weather? Help them get revived and thriving again by sending them this package. There is an assortment of remedies including Tylenol, Ricola, DayQuil and NyQuil, Kleenex to-go pack, Maruchan Chicken Ramen Bowl, Mike-and-Ike, Hershey’s Kisses, and Chapstick.

Exam Cram Food Jam Package

For the Pointer that is up studying late at night or cramming for upcoming exams, this is the snack package for them! This package comes packed with delectable favorites to satisfy the sweet tooth and keep Pointers energized for the long night ahead with items such as: Tolli All Star or Nerd Clusters, Jolly Ranchers, Cheez Its, Garlic Parmesan Pretzel Crisps, Dove Dark Chocolate, Pringles, Sour Patch Kids, Twizzlers, Skittles, and a Monster Energy Drink.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you may order a package for a student living locally who attends class on campus.

These students would come to a designated location on campus to pick up their care package. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship packages elsewhere.

Students and the sender will receive an email confirmation with pick-up instructions.

We are unable to change the existing packages; however, we do have a gluten-free package in the lineup. Snack items are listed in the package description. University Dining does reserve the right to substitute a comparable item if our vendor is unable to supply the listed item promptly.

We will work with our student affairs staff members to identify students who could use extra love and encouragement.
