Before joining UDS in June of 2009, Suzette was an Assistant Manager of Production with the Dietary Department at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for two years. She was with ARAMARK as the Director of Food Service at John Deere Harvester in East Moline, Illinois for two years. After that, she was with ARAMARK as the Director of Food Service at Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point for twelve years. Her food service management experiences in the varied settings of healthcare, business and industry and university dining have been challenging and very rewarding!
Suzette graduated from Iowa State University in 1992 with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Managment. She was also a NACUFS intern at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Suzette has been on the Board of Directors at CIC (Community Industries Corporation) for six years and has a strong interest in helping those with different abilities succeed. Her daughter Alanna takes up most of her free time and is her biggest hobby.
