About the Lab

The Water and Environmental Analysis Lab (WEAL) has been providing high quality water analytical services to Wisconsin residents and communities since 1972. The laboratory maintains certification from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.

We are able to analyze for a wide range of water quality parameters important to drinking water safety, water quality monitoring, research projects, and more. Working alongside our experienced professional staff, the laboratory provides training to students pursuing careers in water resources, chemistry, laboratory services, and beyond.
