Each collaborative learning table is designed for up to six students to use at a time. Students can connect their devices to one of two monitors to collaborate on group work or assignments. Presenters or teachers can also project presentations, documents, or videos to students at each table. Students can also charge their devices and connect to the network through the tables.
The idea wall in the Innovation Space is a wall that has been painted with dry erase paint, essentially turning part of the room into a huge whiteboard. The Idea wall was created with the hopes of making group brainstorming and planning easier for the people who use the room.

SMART Tables are a social, inclusive, and captivating collaboration tool that makes it easy to get young students excited about learning. Students can interact with lessons by touching the table. We have one SMART Table in the Innovation Space, with which education students can create lesson plans for their future classrooms.
The Writing Window, similar to the Idea Wall, is another whiteboard set up on the window at the front of the room. The Writing Window allows those using the room to note important dates or upcoming presentations on the window. Like the Idea Wall, it is also a great resource for group planning and brainstorming.
With the 360 camera you will see the world like you have never seen it before. This camera allows you to capture both photo and video, upload, and share with others. There is also a mobile app that allows you to operate the device right from your phone or iPad.
The Apple TV allows instructors to wirelessly project their iPad in any classroom on campus via Airplay. These devices are also capable of streaming content from the iTunes Store, Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube.
The Innovation Space currently has 40 iPads available for students and faculty to reserve. Faculty can request free apps be loaded on the iPads for their classes.
The Double Robot is one of our newest additions that allows students to attend class remotely, colleagues to attend a meeting they can not make it to campus for, or to bring guest speakers into your class. Remote attendees will have full control of the double granting them the ability to move around, talk, and interact with the individuals on campus.
The Smart Pens allow one to capture audio content while taking written notes. Content can then be replayed and shared with others.
The SnapCam is a great solution for taking HD video and images on the go without the need to carry a camera around. The device attaches directly to your clothes and is operated only by tapping.
The Swivl device provides instructors with an easy method of capturing classroom lectures. Instructors wear a small tracking device and the swivl then follows their movement around the classroom. Lectures can be temporarily stored on an iPad or uploaded to the Swivl Cloud.
