University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Continuing Education offers a comprehensive conference planning service. Programs are designed to meet the continuing education needs and personal enrichment interests of professionals in several different fields.
The services provided by the UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education office are designed to ensure a successful professional development activity for your group. Our team can completely orchestrate your large conference or small workshop from initial planning to final wrap-up, or we can provide partial services based on your needs. We do this by working with you on these key points that will determine the success of your activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conference Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We handle speaker arrangements, arrange food services and AV, and provide comprehensive follow-up services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Planning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We work with you to establish general content and program design, create an agenda and processes for workshops, correspond with potential instructors, and develop evaluative processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marketing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We market your activity to your audience. We will work with a talented graphic artist to develop print promotional materials. We will design a conference-specific website housed on the UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education’s website. We can also work with local media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our state-of-the-art software processes registrations. We offer a full online registration website including the ability to process three types of credit cards. We email a customized confirmation letter to participants. Our courteous staff handles onsite registration for both participants and presenters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiscal Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Working with the client, we develop a budget and conference fees, process all bills, pay speakers, and prepare financial summaries of expenses and incomes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Facilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We identify sites and dates and arrange meeting space, meals, lodging, and AV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Printing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We manage the printing of conference related materials including save-the-date flyers, brochures, program books, evaluations, special information flyers and handouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administrative Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We worry about details that can make or break an event. Speaker logistics, supplies, and Continuing Education Unit processing are handled through our office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
