All singers are welcome to join us regardless of skill or experience level. The ensemble performs a variety of choral music including traditional, Broadway, a capella, pop, and world music. Choir members can look forward to rehearsals filled with challenging, engaging, and joyful music-making. There is&nbsp;one concert per semester, and potential for other community engagement opportunities\u200b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rehearsals are flexible with options on Thursdays from 6:30-8pm or Wednesdays from 12-1:30pm. Working with a variety of genres at all levels, she strives to create a learning environment that is positive, individualized, challenging, and engaging. Previous teaching engagements include The Ohio State University, the University of South Dakota, Beloit College, the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in a variety of roles from community outreach and engagement to Visiting Assistant Professor of Voice.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carlson-Kottke, soprano, has had the opportunity to sing in productions and concerts both in the United States and abroad including Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Prague. Recent engagements include the role of Mother (<em>Hansel &amp; Gretel<\/em>) with both the Worthington Chamber Orchestra and The Ohio State University. Other operatic highlights include Belinda (<em>Dido &amp; Aeneas<\/em>), Kate (<em>Sweets by Kate<\/em>), First Lady (<em>Queen of the Night<\/em>, world premiere), Adele and Rosalinde (<em>Die Fledermaus<\/em>), Susanna (<em>Le Nozze di Figaro<\/em>), and Adina (<em>L&#8217;Elisir d&#8217;Amore<\/em>).
