What is this program about?

Discover the importance of shifting your paradigm to a Trauma Informed Practice lens in your interactions with clients, co-workers, and your community. Learn about trauma, the brain science; ways in which you can utilize this approach in the private sector and in professional settings and how this ‘movement’ is reshaping work in communities.

Dana Johnson, MSW is a career social worker, practicing in senior level management in state government, county human services, an educator in higher education, and operating a consulting and professional development firm. His experience includes child welfare practice, policy, and reform; transformational organizational leadership and culture change, supervision of teams, continuous quality improvement, and dynamic equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts across micro, mezzo, and macro systems.

The Continuing Education and Outreach office reserves the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund.

Live Programs: Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is notified at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the programs start date.

Self-Paced Programs: Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is notified within five (5) days of purchase, provided the program materials have not been accessed.

Registration is complete only after full payment has been received. Program fees must be paid prior to the start of the event unless otherwise noted.

The Continuing Education and Outreach office is not responsible for participant technology issues, including but not limited to inadequate internet bandwidth, connectivity problems, or equipment malfunctions.
