What is this program about?

This transformative class gives you the tools to take the sting out of difficult conversations, at work and beyond.  Backed with neuroscience and a proven conversational model, this course is a dynamic blend of theory and practice, offering hands-on application to help you navigate challenging discussions with ease. Plus, reduce the frequency of difficult conversations through a continual feedback loop, ensuring smoother more productive interactions day to day. Join us to elevate your communication skills and conquer tough talks with finesse and understanding.

Session 1 | 4 Hours | In-Person

In this session we will cover:

  • The science behind effective communication
  • Introduction to a proven conversational model
  • Developing a feedback plan
  • Hands on practice
  • Homework to apply the model in real-life situations

Session 2 | 1.5 Hours | Virtual via Zoom

In this session  we will have a 90 minute follow-up about the homework. We will discuss:

  • What worked well
  • Where you got stuck
  • How to smooth out the rough edges of deploying the model

The Continuing Education and Outreach office reserves the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund.

Live Programs: Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is notified at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the programs start date.

Self-Paced Programs: Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is notified within five (5) days of purchase, provided the program materials have not been accessed.

Registration is complete only after full payment has been received. Program fees must be paid prior to the start of the event unless otherwise noted.
