Section Number 88
Credits 1
Integrate wind energy concepts into your curriculum with KEEP and KidWind!
Learn how to enhance your engineering curriculum with renewable energy concepts and provide students with introductory knowledge and skills that will prepare them for engineering and energy-related STEM careers. You will receive wind activities from the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) and KidWind, in addition to materials which will be used to construct a wind turbine (which is yours to keep). Both KidWind and KEEP curriculum materials align to Next Generation Science Standards; course content includes STEM concepts geared to both middle and high school students.
