Students will be exposed to the history and contemproray parctices of Video Art.  Students will identify the principles, procedures and teniquest of Video Art while analyzing and developing aesthetic judgements about form through lectures, readings, discussions, examinations, written assignments, video screening and equipment demonstrations.  Students will develop competence and creativity in various stages of video and production by producing a work of Video Art and participating in class-wide critiques
