Point Virtual Music Camp has been cancelled due to low enrollment.
Hope you can join us in 2022 when we return to the UW-Stevens Point campus!

Details

Point Music Camp is held each summer at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point School of Performing Arts and is intended for students entering grades 9-12 as well as students graduating this spring.

Attend this great camp to gain valuable experiences, learn new techniques, and develop long-lasting friendships while experiencing our inspiring university.

Work hard and have fun!  Our mission is to develop and nurture 9-12 grade musicians by helping them discover new literature, techniques, and ideas while fostering confidence and enthusiasm. Instructors are comprised entirely of UW-Stevens Point faculty/artists to ensure the best learning environment for students who are serious about music. No other camp in the state is exclusively staffed with resident university faculty.  Learn more about the faculty here.

Try something new! Electives include classes in Choir, Composition, Conducting for Beginners, Digital Audio Workshops (DAWs), Jazz Improvisation, Music Theory. No experience needed for elective classes.

Immerse Yourself. Our program is designed to give students an immersion experience by providing concentrated study on their primary instrument. Each student is with the UW-Stevens Point teacher of their instrument for two hours per day in master classes and lessons.

Whether you are an instrumentalist, a vocalist, a composer or all three, Point Music Camp is the place to be this summer!

In order to participate in instructor-led lessons and electives, students will need to have access to the following:
