Continuing Education Hours (CEHs)​


Continuing Education Hours are a measure of participation in continuing education programs. Individuals should consult with their professional association and/or licensing board regarding the applicability of the conference for their profession.  It is the individual's responsibility to report CEHs earned to their appropriate credential or licensing board.

The conference will be seeking approval for a total of 8.25 Continuing Education Hours by the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter.  A link will be provided after the conference for registrants to receive a printable, personalized CEH Certificate of Completion via email.   

Opportunities and Scholarships

 Consumer Scholarships

Scholarships for consumers of mental health and/or substance use recovery services will be available for the conference.  Priority will be given to Certified Peer Specialists.  Other factors taken into consideration are past conference attendance and/or previously awarded scholarships.  

Scholarship applications will be available starting in Spring 2021.

  • $195 Nonprofit agencies
  • $325 For-profit agencies

All exhibitors receive the following:

  • One complimentary conference registration ($135 value).
  • A virtual exhibit booth designed by your agency with your choice of graphics, videos, promotional links, etc.
  • The opportunity to contribute to the Virtual Goodie Bag distributed exclusively to conference participants.

Continuing Education's on-campus office hours are limited to Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m., as staff continues to work remotely during the pandemice. For additional questions regarding the conference or registration, contact UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education at uwspce-conf@uwsp.edu.

Cancellations Policy


Full refunds granted upon receipt of written request to uwspce-conf@uwsp.eduRequest must be received by September 3, 2020. Cancelling your hotel room does not cancel your conference registration. You will need to contact UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education to cancel your conference registration. Refunds requested between September 4-10, 2020 will be assessed a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be given after September 10, 2020. 

Substitutions can be made at any time, but no shows will be responsible for the full conference fee. Last minute registrations cannot be guaranteed materials.
