The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), is pleased to announce the 17th annual FOCUS conference for health care providers and DQA staff on November 14-15, 2018, at the Kalahari Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells. The FOCUS 2018 conference is being developed in collaboration with DQA, health care provider and provider association representatives.

  • Use your email from last year to login.
  • Forgot your password? An email will be sent with instructions to reset your password.
First time registrants:
  • Enter an email address. This will be your customer log-in for future conference.
Registering someone else:
  • Checkmark the box at the top of the page.
  • Both the registrant and you will receive a registration confirmation letter.
Registering multiple registrants:
  • Select "add additional registrant".
  • Do not check out after the first registrant.
Do not forget to select the "terms and conditions" on the payment page before submitting your payment.

Handouts for the 2018 FOCUS Conference and Special Session will be available 30 days prior to conference and can be accessed here.

 Lodging Information

Single occupancy is $82/Double through quadruple occupancy is $129. A one-night deposit is required at the time of reservation.

Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local tax unless a S211 form is presented at check-in.

 Continuing Education Hours

Continuing Education Hours are a measure of participation in continuing education programs. A 2-ply certificate of completion form will be in your registration folder when you arrive at the conference and will be your proof of attendance and continuing education hours. It is your responsibility to report your hours earned to your appropriate credential or licensing board.

The following hours have been approved  by the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter:
Wednesday, November 14 = 5.75 CEHs
Thursday, November 15 = 5.75 CEHs
Total = 11.5 CEHs

Online registration will only be accepeted with credit card payment or a valid purchase order. If you would like to pay by check, print the registration form and mail it to our office with payment.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds granted upon receipt of written request to uwspce-conf@uwsp.edu. No refunds will be given after October 31, 2018. Substitutions can be made at anytime, but no shows will be responsible for the full conference fee. Last minute registrations cannot be guaranteed meals or materials.

Walk-in registrations will not be accepted.
