 UW-Stevens Point Aquaponics Innovation Center

The Aquaponics Innovation Center is the first-of-its-kind applied research and education center.  The facility has six replicate aquaponics production units (one unit shown above) capable of raft (deep water), media, and nutrient film technique (NFT) production.  Additional resources include:

Construction of the AIC

The Aquaponics Innovation Center (AIC) is located in Montello, WI at the business campus of Nelson and Pade, Inc.®, the private industry partner for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's aquaponics programs. The AIC covers 4,800 sq.ft. of Nelson and Pade, Inc. ®'s new, state-of-the-art controlled environment greenhouse facility. Construction of the whole facility began in August, 2014 and was completed in December, 2014.
