Spring Student-Faculty Conference: Friday, April 6, 2018, at Edgewood College, Madison
Preliminary CFP—final version coming soon
Will Democracy Survive?
Throughout the world, and here at home, authoritarianism and authoritarian forces are on the rise. At this important moment, Edgewood College – along with the Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies – invites students, faculty, and staff from colleges and universities across Wisconsin, as well as members of the Wisconsin community at large, to the Edgewood College campus, Friday, April 6, 2018, to join us for an academically-focused conversation on, and exploration of, this world-wide phenomenon.
Those who would like to make a presentation at this event are encouraged to send proposals for papers on this or a related topic or a proposal for a roundtable discussion, research poster, or creative presentation to Dr. John Fields, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, 1000 Edgewood College Drive, Madison WI 53711 before Monday, February 19, 2018. Proposals may be from any relevant discipline or subject area. Student papers will be eligible for cash prizes awarded by the WIPCS.
