The College of Fine Arts and Communication is celebrating more than 50 years of Artistic\/Academic Excellence on the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus. It holds the distinction of being the only university in the state that has earned and maintained national accreditation in all four arts disciplines: Art and Design (NASAD and CIDA), Dance (NASD), Music (NASM), and Theatre (NAST). Graduates from all fine arts and communication programs find successful careers, ranging from local and regional studio work, non-profit organizations, businesses, and educational institutions, to national media organizations, graduate programs, and performance stages from coast-to-coast. At the core of every COFAC academic program and key to alumni success is a high level of personal attention combined with practical, hands-on learning experiences. Our faculty are experienced professionals who are devoted to mentoring students in their areas of interest and helping them take the next step into careers in professional creative fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
