The mission of the Wisconsin Center for Wildlife (WCW) is to engage students, landowners, professionals, and others in sustainable wildlife management through research, education, and outreach.

Welcome to the Wisconsin Center for Wildlife!

The WCW is relatively new (September 2015), but with vision from the wildlife faculty at UW-Stevens Point; support from Christine Thomas, Dean of the UW-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources; and a generous endowment from Gerald and Helen Stephens, we have hit the ground running. Our mission is far-reaching. Our goals are broad and ambitious, yet with the support of our faculty, students, Fellows, and Partners, we will be able to attain them and have a considerable positive impact on the landscape, wildlife, and people of Wisconsin who enjoy them. I hope you will join us in achieving our mission.
