Dean Christine Thomas to be inducted into Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame

From an article by Jennifer P. Kross, announcing Christine's election to the Duck's Unlimited national board of directors in 2015:

"Thomas is dean and professor of resource management in the College of Natural Resources at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She has a long list of awards and credentials that celebrate her love of the outdoors and conservation achievements. She is also active in regional issues related to women in natural resources.

Thomas has received honors from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Outdoor Life magazine, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Sports Show Hall of Fame, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, National Wildlife Federation and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, among others for her various teaching achievements and contributions to conservation. She served as vice chair of the Wildlife and Hunting Heritage and Conservation Council, appointed by the Secretaries of Interior and Agriculture under the Obama administration."

We can now add membership into the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame to that long list of achievements. Congratulations on well-deserved recognition, Christine!
