in Environmental Education Series

Enhance your integration of environmental education. Connect your curriculum to standards-based activities using the outdoors. Advance your utility of place-based resources to engage learners. This summer series of one-day workshops offered by the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education allows participants to select from a suite of offerings.

Workshops begin in early June and continue through mid-August. All workshops run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (certificates provided for 7 hours of professional development).

The Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE) fosters universal environmental and social responsibility through the development, dissemination, implementation and evaluation of sustainability and environmental education programs in pK-12 schools and communities. The WCEE is a center of the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point College of Natural Resources and the University of Wisconsin Extension – Cooperative Extension.

The WCEE was established by the Wisconsin legislature in 1990 and placed within the College of Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP). This connection allows the WCEE staff to work with more than 100 faculty and staff in various disciplines.
