This position will act as a residence director overseeing the housing and the social programming of an academic summer program. This is a unique live-in experience in an out-of-doors setting in beautiful northern Wisconsin. In this role the residence director works closely with Residential Living staff, College of Natural Resources staff, the Dean of Students office on campus and Teaching Assistants to create a community of learners on location at Treehaven: a natural resources education, conference, and research center located in the Northwoods between Rhinelander and Tomahawk, Wisconsin. It is owned and operated by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources (CNR) and rests on a glacial ridge overlooking 1,400 acres of forest and wetlands. Treehaven is home to one of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources Summer Field Techniques programs. Students majoring in natural resources gain field experience in forestry, wildlife management, soil science and water resources. This program is a nationally recognized highlight of the CNR undergraduate degree. This position will be supervised by the College of Natural Resources Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, with on-site supervision by the Treehaven Director. CLICK HERE TO APPLY.
