Special COVID-19 procedures for in-person Family Nature Programs
Due to COVID-19, the following procedures have been established:
Registration required: You must register to attend these free nature programs. No walk-in attendees will be accepted. To register, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Include the titles of the programs you want to attend, the number in your group, your e-mail address, and your phone number. We will confirm your registration via e-mail. Space is limited to 25 attendees at each event.
No indoor programs: All programs will be outdoors; please dress for the weather. The visitor center will not be open to participants; a restroom building is available near the parking lot. All programs begin at the campfire ring near the visitor center unless otherwise noted on the calendar.
Face coverings required: All attendees must wear face coverings during the program, per UWSP requirements. The presenter also will wear a face covering.
Social distancing required: All attendees must practice social distancing during the program. Each household group must remain 6 feet away from other participant groups.
Rain dates/Cancellations: In case of heavy rain or storms, we will reschedule the program for the rain date listed and contact all registrants. In the event of a canceled program, registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible.
