Friends of Schmeeckle 2016 Writing, Art, and Photography Workshops

Do you want to enhance your skills in sketching, writing, or taking photos in the outdoors? Would you enjoy spending time with others in the beauty of Schmeeckle Reserve in autumn? Or do you want to have something ready to submit to the annual Friends of Schmeeckle Reserve Writing, Art, and Photo Contest?

This fall the Friends of Schmeeckle Reserve will offer three separate workshops in art, writing, and photography on Saturdays in September and October. The workshops are free and open to the public, but registration will be limited. Each one will be led jointly by a local artist and a Friends of Schmeeckle Board member.

All workshops will begin at the Schmeeckle Reserve Visitor Center, 2419 North Point Drive, Stevens Point, and will be outdoors. In case of rain, workshops will be held in the visitor center meeting room.

Registration: Register online or contact Schmeeckle Reserve Outreach Coordinator Megan Espe at or 715-346-4992.
