At CWES, we have taken many steps toward sustainability for our visitors and staff.  In 2011, a garden was constructed with the goal of increasing local, organic foods into our food service program.

We are also raising chickens along with egg production for our food service program.  Graduate students and volunteers are assisting with the care of the chickens.  Here is a link to a video on how to care for the CWES chickens.
