Annual Meetings for Lake Districts During COVID in 2021 Presenter: Mike Engleson, Executive Director, Wisconsin Lakes

The lake district annual meeting is critical for finalizing and approving a lake district's annual budget. It is also where and when elections for board members take place. Wisconsin state law governs many aspects of how the annual meeting is to be run. To participate, land owners and electors must be present in person. This creates unique challenges during a pandemic. We'll discuss the basics of the annual meeting and share some success stories from 2020 to help people have healthy and productive lake district annual meetings in 2021.
