Concurrent Sessions 
(Agenda subject to change)

The 38th annual Wisconsin Lakes Partnership Convention will be held in conjunction with the 7th Wisconsin Citizen-based Monitoring Conference and the Water Action Volunteers Annual Symposium.

This year's concurrent session options are categorized by several stream themes. In addition to the concurrent session offerings, there will also be the Kick-off Plenary Panel, Poster Session and Wisconsin Lake Stewardship Awards on Thursday, as well as keynote and lunch speakers. Don't forget to check out all of the other networking opportunities and workshops!

Thursday, March 31 Stream Themes (Lakes Convention)


Thursday, March 30 will include a full day of concurrent session options in the following topic areas:

  • Citizen Action: Past & Present
  • Lake Research
  • Aquatic Invasive Species
  • Lake Planning, Management & Implementation
  • Native Plant & Animal Ecology
  • Lake Management Policy Updates

​Friday, April 1 Stream Themes (Lakes Convention & CBM Conference/WAV symposium)


Friday, April 1 is intentionally geared towards citizens and others new to the Lakes Partnership Convention. We are also combining with the Citizen-based Monitoring Conference and the Water Action Volunteers Symposium. 

Friday morning's themes include:

  • Citizen Action: Present & Future
  • Healthy Lakes
  • Aquatic Invasive Species
  • Streams, Rivers, Watersheds
  • Native Plants & Animals: Citizen Monitoring
  • Community-driven Ideas & Tools

Friday afternoon will offer hands-on workshops​ that are more lake-focused, but also will include concurrent sessions with these themes:

  • Monitoring Beyond the Lake: WAV, RED, Bridge Snapshot
  • Ecology: Native Plants & Animals (Citizen Monitoring)
  • Tools for Engagement: Digital Communications and Success Stories

Saturday, April 2 Stream Themes (CBM Conference/WAV Symposium)


Saturday, April 2, will include concurrent sessions relevent to Citizen-based Monitoring Volunteers and Water Action Volunteers.
