These digital frameworks and resource libraries are the product of a joint
effort between the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) and
Cool Choices. Beginning in early 2011, KEEP began partnering with
to support climate change and sustainable transportation education in
Wisconsin’s K-12 schools. KEEP was created in 1995 to promote energy
education in Wisconsin. It is housed within the Wisconsin Center for
Environmental Education, which is part of the College of Natural
Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Cool Choices is a
Wisconsin-based nonprofit whose core priority is to facilitate change.
Whether related to recycling, energy usage or transportation, Cool
Choices helps individuals, communities and small businesses implement
environmentally sustainale actions.
