GIBSON FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

“My singular purpose as a higher education leader is to help more students succeed.”

Like nearly half of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point students, Chancellor Thomas Gibson was the first in his family to attend college. It was through higher education that he learned to both challenge and apply himself and, in the process, discovered a rewarding career on a path he hadn’t imagined. Continuing his commitment to make education accessible, Chancellor Gibson has now established the Gibson Family Scholarship to support first-generation and historically underrepresented students realize their potential at UW-Stevens Point. When endowed, the fund will make a lasting difference in reducing financial barriers and fostering opportunities for future Pointers. For more information or to make a gift to the Gibson Family Scholarship Fund, please visit the link below.
