​​Credit Card Terminal Rental​

Faculty and staff can rent a credit card terminal for work related purposes through the University Information and Ticket Desk (UIT).
 
Guidelines:
  • Equipment is reserved on a first-come first-serve basis and equipment must be requested by a UWSP Faculty/Staff Member at least three days in advance of the event
  • The name on the reservation must reflect who will be picking up the equipment
    • Please inform UIT in advance if someone other than who is listed on the reservation will be picking up the equipment
    • Equipment will not be released to individuals not indicated on reservation.
  • All parts and accessories included in each equipment case will be checked at the time of pick-up and return. Please allow enough time for this when you are planning pick-up and drop-off times.
  • Reservations requesting more than one credit card terminal will require approval from UIT Supervisor or Student Manager.
  • Any staff member who uses this machine must have completed the credit card handling training offered by UWSP prior to picking up the machine.
Rental Fees:
There is a $25 charge to rent the credit card terminal.
There is a $0.10 per transaction fee
There is 4% credit card fee.
  • The department assumes responsibility for loss and/or damage resulting from negligence of a unit. The department will be charged to replace the broken and/or damaged unit.
  • A $15 per day fee will be applied for equipment not returned on-time.
    All fees will be charged to the departments account number given on reservation form, contact your department to determine reimbursement options.
Reserving a Terminal:
  • Check availability or receive assistance with loaned equipment, please contact the University Information and Ticket Desk, (715) 345-4100.
  • Pick-Up and Returns will take place during UIT Hours
    • Monday – Friday: 7:00am-9:00pm, Saturday – Sunday: 12:00pm- 9:00pm
