UWSP Intramurals = your key to competition, recreation and everything in between
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Intramurals program is dedicated to providing students and our univeristy community with a variety of opportunities for involvement in a healthy, safe and competitive environment. Our activities enhance the college experience by promoting involvement, responsibility, sportsmanship and fun.
We offer curling, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, trench ball, basketball, soccer, flag football, softball, golf league, college hockey league, log rolling and much more. No matter what your passion is, you'll find it here.
Participating is easy
For our league play, intramurals run on a block scheduling system which is offered twice per semester. A 'block' is six weeks long and leagues typically take place on the same nights and times for the entire block. All of our activities are organized into leagues. Teams for leagues can be created by those who would like to be on the same team and name a team captain, or individuals who sign up can be assigned to a team by our office. Each team or individual will pay a small fee to participate depending on the league.
Any gear needed to play is typically provided, with a few exceptions. Our program is broken into two different types of leagues: D1 leagues are competitive and D2 leagues are recreational. The goal is to make sure every student has an opportunity to participate at whatever level they feel comfortable.
