Weddings and Private Events 

What We Offer:

We have two large banquet rooms that can nicely accommodate a wedding reception or other private event.

The Alumni Room can seat a maximum of 200 people for dinner. Tables can be cleared to provide a dance area.

The Laird Room is a larger banquet room that can accommodate up to 400 for a dinner and a dance.

The University Centers follow a scheduling protocol when reserving space in any of the University Centers buildings. Please contact our office to check availability.

Use of Facility Costs:

  • Alumni Room and Ferber Lounge: Up to 200 people; Includes costs associated with opening, set up/tear down and basic sound (microphone at head table)

    • $1,350.00

  • Laird Room and Laird Lounge:  Up to 350 people; Includes costs associated with opening, set up/tear down and basic sound (microphone at head table)

    • $1,853.00

  • Fountain/Patio Area: Up to 50 chairs; Includes use of fountain and patio areas and access to outdoor electrical outlets

    • $200.00: Flat Rate

Other than your wedding cake, all food and beverages need to be contracted through University Dining Services. Catering costs are billed separately. Please see their website here.
