This training does not offer immediate support to those in distress. Instead, it prepares faculty and staff to be better able to support students in the future. Suicide prevention training is one part of a broader suicide prevention strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canvas Course Link:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uws-td.instructure.com\/enroll\/9E3HF7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Recognize, Respond, Refer<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Background: UW-System\/Madison developed an online training for faculty and staff focused on supporting students in crises.
