We are capable of placing Global announcments visible to all Canvas users, but moderate the types of announcments we place. 

CITL strictly moderates the placement of announcements in Canvas.

Announcements may be considered for placement in Canvas if:

• An announcement addresses a technical matter which directly impacts the stability or usability of a majority of users of Canvas or other Digital Learning Environment tools.
• An announcement addresses a subject matter with broad impact in promoting student success.
• An announcement provides information which is critical to the day-to-day operations of the university.
• An announcement request will be considered only if it is supported by an Assistant Dean or Dean, the Chancellor, Provost, or an AVC.
