Join members of the <strong>Department of Physics and Astronomy<\/strong> for the viewing through portable telescopes with solar filters, at the UWSP Colman Field, adjacent to Maria Drive. (Limited number of free eclipse <span class=\"x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t83\/1\/16\/1f60e.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude0e\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span> sunglasses available.)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">The duration is roughly two and a half hours long beginning at approximately 12:50 p.m.\u00a0 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeanddate.com\/eclipse\/in\/@5274644?iso=20240408\">maximum visible point of the eclipse<\/a> will be approximately 2:07 p.m. with the sun most hidden from view. We will follow the partial eclipse for its whole duration\u200b until about 3:20\u200b p.m.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Notes: The event <strong>will be cancelled if the weather is not favorable<\/strong>. Street parking is available.
