When spooky season begins, it\u2019s all about monsters, goblins, and ghouls. At the museum, we like to learn about animals that have unconventional looks and do creepy things. Come learn about the beautiful and the weird creatures in the world. This program free and open to all ages but is designed to be engaging for students ages 8-11.<\/p>\n
Events are held in person at 5:30 p.m. in the UWSP Science Building Room A113<\/strong> while the work continues to ready our new museum spaces. All programs are presented FREE!<\/p>\n The UW-Stevens Point Museum of Natural History presents monthly themes for curious kids in our Junior Scientist programs. Our Thursday evening programming\u2014relaunching this fall\u2014will teach kids about Wisconsin\u2019s nocturnal animals, how things are built in the natural world, how animals navigate in their surroundings, and much more! View fall programs flyer.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n During the school year, the Museum of\u00a0Natural History and Blocher Planetarium<\/a> host free programs to engage children who would like to earn \u201cJunior Scientist\u201d status. Sign in at each event to get your name tag and show everyone you are a Junior Scientist in-training!\u00a0Once you reach the level of Junior Scientist, you get to have your picture put up on our Wall of Juniors!
