Join the UWSP Sentry School of Business and Economics for a Business and Society Lecture Series<\/strong> event as author Ken Favaro presents “Real Strategy and Innovation” on Wednesday, March 11 at 7-9 a.m. in the Dreyfus University Center Laird Room.<\/p>\n

Strategy is a powerful tool for driving business results but too often, leaders achieve sub-par outcomes because they carry misconceptions of what strategy is, what makes it great and how to keep it great.<\/p>\n

Based on his decades of experience working with CEOs, executive teams and boards, Ken Favaro<\/strong> has written Real Strategy<\/em>; published in 2024, the book is a no-nonsense guide to the most difficult questions about strategy. Favaro has also co-developed a new approach to innovation known as \u201cPrecedents Thinking\u201d which was featured in the Harvard Business Review<\/em> in 2025.<\/p>\n

Favaro\u2019s presentation will include examples of how entrepreneurs and corporate leaders have applied \u201cPrecedents Thinking\u201d to generate bigger, better ideas and breakthrough innovations.<\/p>\n
