This video dives into the world of these ultra-dense cosmic remnants, where a teaspoon of matter weighs billions of tons, gravity warps space, and magnetic fields can tear atoms apart. Discover what makes neutron stars some of the most extreme and fascinating objects in the universe.<\/p>\n<p>Then, we&#8217;ll examine the sizes of stars \u2014 from our own Sun to unimaginable cosmic giants like Betelgeuse, Mu Cephei, and the colossal Stephenson 2-18. Through stunning visuals and simple explanations, you\u2019ll see just how tiny our Solar System is in comparison to the true titans of the cosmos.<\/p>\n<p>Our shows are open to the public in the\u00a0<strong>Allen F. Blocher Planetarium<\/strong>.\u00a0The planetarium is located on the second floor of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/2001+4th+Ave,+Stevens+Point,+WI+54481\/@44.5281883,-89.5752272,16z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x88005aeaffe5cf27:0xcb286f85dce7430b!8m2!3d44.5281845!4d-89.5708498?hl=en\">Science Building<\/a>, by the Foucault pendulum, right above the east main entrance. Direct access is obtained through the east entrance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Recommended for all audiences<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Admission<\/h2>\n<p>There is no charge for our public programs, although donations of $1-$2 per attendee will be greatly appreciated to allow us to continue these public programs for our community.<\/p>\n<h2>Parking<\/h2>\n<p>Parking is\u00a0free on campus\u00a0for our guests\u00a0only on\u00a0Saturdays\u00a0and Sundays.\u00a0From Monday-Friday, the UWSP parking lots are\u00a0enforced 2 am \u2013 7 pm.
