DESCRIPTION:Heliophysics is the main component of the Sunstruck! planetarium show. It includes information on the sun\, parts/layers\, space weather and its impact on Earth. With amazing footage from NASA heliophysics missions\, the audience should gain an enhanced understanding of the Sun and how it impacts our world. \n*Recommended for all audiences \nAdmission\nThere is no charge for our public programs\, although donations of $1-$2 per attendee will be greatly appreciated to allow us to continue these public programs for our community. \nParking\nParking is free on campus for our guests only on Saturdays and Sundays. From Monday-Friday\, the UWSP parking lots are enforced 2 am – 7 pm. Please visit this website for more details about parking options\, rules\, and regulations. \n \n \n  \nGET INVOLVED! \nThe Blocher Planetarium is a treasure of the Stevens Point community\, offering shows to students young and old alike. This space has inspired countless students to go onto careers in astronomy and sparked the imagination of young children on field trips as they ask questions about the universe and their place in it.
