DESCRIPTION:The School of Biology\, Chemistry\, and Biochemistry welcomes you to the Fall Symposium. More than a dozen students will present their research projects. Poster presentations will take place from 12:15 p.m.- 1:30 p.m. in the Chemistry Biology Building atrium. Come support our students! \nKeynote \nDr. Vasyl Tkach\, University of North Dakota – Parasites\, People and Continents: An Unexpected Journey.\nDr. Tkach’s inspiring talk will reveal an unconventional path to becoming a scientist\, his journeys around the world discovering new species of parasites\, and his passion for mentoring students – including multiple UW-Stevens Point REU students. \nLocation: CBB 101 at 11AM \n
