SUMMARY:Summer Dance Intensive
DESCRIPTION:2025 Summer Dance Intensive will feature two age groups in t​wo different weeks. Residential campers will check in on Sunday evening and camp will conclude Friday with an informal performance taking place on Fri​day afternoon.  Family and friends are welcome to attend the performance. Campers will spend the majority of their time in the Noel Fine Arts Center under the direction of UW-Stevens Point Dance Faculty. Additional camp information will be sent out two to three weeks prior to the start of camp.​\n\nCampers will participate in a unique dance experience that will test their limits\, improve their skills\, and show their talent. Classes will be held in the beautiful Noel Fine Arts Center dance studios. SUMMARY:American Suzuki Institute
DESCRIPTION:The American Suzuki Institute is a family-oriented Suzuki student summer music program held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. It also boasts a highly regarded Short-term Teacher Development program with a wide array of courses for a variety of instruments. Founded in 1971\, ASI boasts the longest-running history of any summer institute outside of Japan. The Institute is the model of excellence for other institutes around the world. It truly is an “Original.” \nASI offers a nurturing and magical music immersion experience for all participants\, complete with the highest quality instruction\, fun extra-curricular activities\, and a nurturing\, welcoming community of friends\, mentors\, and colleagues guaranteed to leave you inspired and refreshed. In addition to instruction\, the ASI faculty shares its expertise through an extensive lecture series\, exploring topics of interest to parents and teachers alike. The Institute also offers a robust recital series\, including students\, faculty\, and renowned guest artists. \nBut ASI has another side as well. The campus is nestled between the shores of the Wisconsin River and the world-class SentryWorld Golf Course.
