SUMMARY:Laser Queen
DESCRIPTION:Start with a layer of heavy metal\, add a dash of glam\, a pinch of astrophysics\, and sprinkle liberally with theatrics. Only THEN will you get a sense of what makes up the legendary Queen\, the band who are often touted as being the most educated rock band to ever live. Freddy Mercury put it best when he said\, “The whole point of Queen was to be original. We’re a very expensive group; we break a lot of rules\, It’s unheard of to combine opera with a rock theme\, my dear.”\nLaser light shows set to rock and popular music will be offered this spring in the Allen F. Blocher Planetarium.  The shows will be offered at 7\, 8\, 9 and 10 p.m. nightly from March 26-30\, April 2-6\, 2025. Tickets are available only at the door\, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on show days. \nTickets are $7 for adults\, $6 for students and $5 for students with UW-Stevens Point I.D. Tickets are valid for day purchased only. \n
