Fun Facts

Best advice you ever received?

Life is short; don’t waste it!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I had no career aspirations. Rather, I just always wanted to be the best I could be on whatever path I walked!

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I love seeing a student develop and grow their knowledge about a topic I am completely passionate about entrepreneurship. At the beginning of class, some students know nothing about owning a business and do not care to ever be self-employed. By the end of class, many of these students have done a180 degree turn and are considering entrepreneurship as a viable career choice!

A piece of advice for students in your school?

Be bold! Don’t waste time sitting on the sidelines because you’re afraid to fail! Failure is an opportunity to find a better way of doing something.
