Please indicate this on your CampDoc registration or call the ASI Office at 715-346-3033.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Classes\/Resources<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Enrollment is open to violin, viola, cello, bass, piano harp, and voice\u200b\u200b\u200b&nbsp;students of all levels who currently study with a teacher who uses the Suzuki method and materials. Each student should review the Suzuki repertoire in the review lists for the current year up to and including the current piece for his\/her playing level. Be prepared to play your polished piece for your master class teacher at your first lesson. The teacher can readily assess the student\u2019s needs by hearing a technically and musically mature piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Week One&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 (July 19-24) piano, violin, SECE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Week Two&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 (July 26-31)&nbsp;cello, harp, viola, violin, SECE, and&nbsp;One-week Chamber Music Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Both Weeks<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 (July 19-24 and July 26-31) 2-week Intensive&nbsp;Chamber Music<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student program is a family experience. In addition to providing an open area for socialization for parents, we also offer some special events. See below for opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parent participation is essential to the success of the Suzuki Method, and the American Suzuki Institute has planned various activities to help parents fulfill their role. Parents attend lessons with their children and help them prepare for the next day\u2019s classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Suzuki Institute is a family experience. Parents are expected to remain with their children during meals and leisure time, as well as during classes. Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children and the safety of their valuables while attending the Institute. All students and other children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult during the Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Free lectures:&nbsp;<\/strong>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scheduled Monday-Thursday at 11:05 am&nbsp;to coincide with the student electives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Topics may include Suzuki Philosophy, communication, parent-child interaction, goals, early childhood development, working with teenagers, and instrumental techniques and musicianship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will receive a schedule of lectures upon check-in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Every Child Can!<br><\/strong>This course is an introduction to Dr. Suzuki\u2019s Philosophy and its application to Suzuki education. It provides an inspiring in-depth look at the Suzuki approach.<ul><li>Advance registration is requiredThe 2-day, 8-hour course is being offered Saturday and Sunday, July 18-19, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm.
