Minnesota residents are charged tuition fees based on the Minnesota\/Wisconsin tuition reciprocity agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I apply to participate in the program?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that the admissions application will be used to verify eligibility; no separate application process is needed. Follow the steps necessary for admission and enrollment outlined on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/admissions\/Pages\/applying\/future-students.aspx\">UW-Stevens Point Admissions website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the value of the discount?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuition for MSEP students attending UW-Stevens Point campus is equal to approximately 150 percent of the in-state tuition rate, which is significantly less than the regular non-resident rate. For complete information, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/ar\/Pages\/Tuition-Rates.aspx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/ar\/Pages\/Tuition-Rates.aspx\">tuition and fee tables<\/a>. <br><br><strong><em>Destination Wisconsin Scholarship:<\/em><\/strong> Our<a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/admissions\/Pages\/affordability.aspx\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/admissions\/Pages\/affordability.aspx\"> Destination Wisconsin Scholarship<\/a> is guaranteed to any new undergraduate student with a 2.75+ GPA or 19+ ACT\/980+ SAT who is not a resident of Wisconsin or Minnesota. MSEP students who meet this criterion will automatically be awarded $1,000\/year for 4 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What academic programs\/majors participate in MSEP?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All undergraduate and graduate program are eligible for MSEP except for the following*: Health and Wellness Management, Health Information Management and Technology, BSN@Home Program, and the Clinical Doctorate in Audiology.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*Please note that the list of eligible programs is subject to change.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the qualifications for participating in MSEP?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MSEP applicants are subject to the same admission requirements as other applicants. Please consult&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/admissions\/Pages\/applying\/first-year.aspx\">UWSP Admissions page<\/a>&nbsp;for the current admission requirements. MSEP participants must be formally admitted to UW-Stevens Point at the undergraduate or graduate level. Please note that the University of Wisconsin System imposes an \u201cexcess Credits Surcharge\u201d to students accumulating more than 165 credits.
