Students will automatically be awarded this scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Midwest Student Exchange Program Students**:&nbsp;<strong>$1,000\/year<\/strong>, renewable for 4 years\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>**Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Ohio residents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All Return to Wisconsin students will receive a&nbsp;<strong>$1,000\/year<\/strong>, renewable for 4 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All other Out-of-State Students:&nbsp;<strong>$4,000\/year<\/strong>, renewable for 4 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other Program Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be enrolled full-time (12 UWSP credits per semester)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must maintain a UW\u2013Stevens Point minimum cumulative GPA of<strong>&nbsp;2.75<\/strong>&nbsp;or greater for each semester in attendance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must remain continuously enrolled to receive the waiver<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How Destination Wisconsin is Applied<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Students are charged different tuition rates (see above MSEP, Return to WI, Out of State)<br>\u2022 The tuition waiver (scholarship) is based on your tuition rate<br>\u2022 If the student is not charged tuition for a semester, the student does not receive the waiver. ex: co-op<br>\u2022 Destination WI Scholarship cannot be applied to a study abroad program<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship is only available to Stevens Point campus students.&nbsp;Students majoring in Applied&nbsp;Computing Bachelor of Science&nbsp;degree are not eligible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*While funding is available<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">POINTER PROMISE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will be eligible for a&nbsp;<strong>$250 Pointer Promise Scholarship<\/strong>&nbsp;if they don\u2019t qualify for an Invest in Your Purpose Scholarship. This scholarship is for students who apply to the Stevens Point campus for fall 2026. Incoming first-year student scholarships are based on merit, not financial need. Priority scholarship consideration will be given to students who have submitted their application for admission and the new student scholarship application (linked below). Starting in August, admitted students can login to UWSP\u2019s new scholarship portal and apply for all first-year institutional scholarships conveniently through one application. Students will be matched to available scholarships based on answers completed on the application. Not all sections and essays are required in the application, but providing more information may increase the number of opportunities for which a student is eligible. The application doesn\u2019t have to be completed in one visit and will be saved every time a student navigates to other questions.
