As a helping profession, social work involves working with people from diverse backgrounds in a variety of situations and across a multitude of practice settings. The UW-Stevens Point bachelor’s program in social work is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education<\/a>. Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply for their social work certification through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
