{"id":2128,"date":"2026-05-22T16:42:40","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T16:42:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-uwsp-multi.pantheonsite.io\/academics\/?post_type=uwsp_programs&#038;p=2128"},"modified":"2026-05-22T16:56:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T16:56:12","slug":"web-development-2","status":"publish","type":"uwsp_programs","link":"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/academics\/programs\/web-development-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Web Development"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Web Development minor provides students with a foundation in web design and development, including the theory and practice of human-centered design and evaluation with a focus on usability and user experience, and fundamentals of working with modern web technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Web Development student, you will have access to state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, as well as design software and services such as Adobe CC suite, Axure RP, and Balsamiq Mockups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This minor pairs well with disciplines that benefit from user-centric design and evaluation skills, and it is recommended for students majoring in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/academics\/programs\/computer-information-system\/\">Computer Information Systems<\/a> who wish to deepen their understanding of developing interactive applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The&nbsp;Web Development&nbsp;minor consists of at least 29 credits:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements:&nbsp;WD&nbsp;100, 201, 310;&nbsp;CNMT 101,&nbsp;110, 210. &nbsp;
