Pathways Internships provide mentorship and supervision from faculty and staff who have applied to mentor students within the program. Funding is awarded via an internship funding allotment which equates to a fund reimbursement of up to $2,500 for wages paid to 1 undergraduate intern. Supervising-Mentors can apply for up to two&nbsp;Pathways allotments per academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pathways<\/em>&nbsp;Supervising-Mentor criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be on contract with UW-Stevens Point at the time of application and throughout the duration of the Pathways academic year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide an internship position description (containing learning and\/or internship outcomes) as well as a paid internship experience (<a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/UCOL\/internships\/Documents\/Example%20Intern%20Position%20Description.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Position Description Example<\/em><\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agree to complete the following components of the internship:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Orientation, on-boarding, training, supervision, and mentorship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mid-experience performance evaluation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End of experience feedback survey (distributed by the Pathways Program Coordinator)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Consideration may be given to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Innovative, distinct, or high-level responsibilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervising-Mentor does not already have access to other funding sources (grants, awards, donations, budget lines, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervising-Mentor has not received Pathways funds within the last two academic years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Past feedback of supervision\/mentorship as a Pathways Supervising-Mentor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equitable division of awards across institutional work areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"uwspbtn uwsp-btn-solid-purple\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=rUucIBTfckGH3wYPhPAaEWUf7rLuBEJIodDZrEQpAZlURU1UUUdHN1NQQVBTV01KQkNMQkpQUDBGNy4u\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Here <i class=\"fa-solid fa-circle-chevron-right\"><\/i><\/a>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions about the&nbsp;<em>Pathways Internship Program<\/em>, contact the Pathways Internship Program Coordinator (<a href=\"mailto:university.college.internships@uwsp.edu\">university.college.internships@uwsp.edu<\/a>).
