{"id":167,"date":"2026-02-26T18:50:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T18:50:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-uwsp-multi.pantheonsite.io\/academic-affairs\/?page_id=167"},"modified":"2026-05-26T20:03:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T20:03:16","slug":"personnel-and-budget-home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/academic-affairs\/personnel-and-budget-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Personnel and Budget Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dr. Katherine (Katie) Jore serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Personnel, Budget and Grants is the chief assistant to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in support of&nbsp;<a href=\"\/academic-affairs\/personnel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">personnel<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"\/academic-affairs\/budget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">budget<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/acadaff\/orsp\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grants<\/a>. Dr. Jore\u2019s major responsibilities include providing leadership to and assuring compliance by academic department and administrative units on matters relating to personnel policies, public records, open meetings, and other topics that relate to personnel management and review. In addition to this, Dr. Jore provides general oversight of the Academic Affairs budget and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www3.uwsp.edu\/acadaff\/orsp\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Office of Research and Sponsored Programs<\/a>. Likewise, Dr. Jore serves as a resource for faculty, academic staff, and mediation committees on personnel issues associated with faculty and academic staff.
